Montana State University Extension as
its newest partner. MSU Extension is a
statewide educational outreach network that
applies unbiased, research-based resources
to practical needs identified by the people
of Montana. The Extension network connects
researchers and educators on the MSU campus
with a web of Extension faculty located
throughout the state's 56 counties and seven
reservations. Cooperating with local
governments and citizens, MSU Extension
agents and campus based specialists
collaborate to develop educational programs
and partnerships that make a positive
difference in people's lives. MSU Extension
is dedicated to improving the quality of
people's lives by providing research-based
knowledge to strengthen the social,
economic, and environmental well-being of
families, communities, and agriculture
enterprises.

New
Disease Management Reports Added to PDMR
One hundred new efficacy trials for chemical
and nonchemical means of plant disease
control have been added to
Plant Disease Management Reports,
Volume 2, for a total of 569 reports. A
feature article on the origins of PDMR,
as well as thousands of reports from past
B&C and F&N Tests volumes, is
also available.
July Traffic a New Record
Each of the last five months has constituted
a new record for
Plant Management Network site traffic.
Visitors in July 2008 were a record 48,579.
