PMN Implements Journal Publication Fee
Plant Management Network announces a new
publication fee for its peer-reviewed
journals:
Crop Management,
Forage and Grazinglands,
Applied Turfgrass Science, and
Plant Health Progress. The fee goes
into effect for all accepted manuscripts
submitted on or after January 1, 2010. Rates
are a flat fee (not per page charge) of $150
for full articles and $100 for Briefs,
payable at the author proof stage of
production. The fees are necessary to
partially defray the direct expenses of
publishing PMN’s not-for-profit online
journals, including electronic peer review,
editorial and production labor, and website
maintenance and hosting. Thank you for your
support.
PMN to Develop Focus on Potato

The Plant Management Network has developed a
prototype for a new commodity-based
resource, titled
Focus on Potato. This resource will
feature webcasts, an extension search, and
other resources that ultimately help
practitioners develop healthier,
higher-yielding potato crops. Help launch
this important new resource by becoming a
Focus on Potato
sponsor or a PMN
partner.
Publish Your Proceedings with PMN
Reach hundreds of thousands of potential
readers by publishing the
proceedings of your symposium, workshop,
or other event online within the Plant
Management Network. Your topic should be
within PMN’s scope of applied agricultural /
horticultural crop management and
protection. Publication fees do apply in
support of PMN’s not-for-profit mission,
which you may wish to plan into the events
budget. So, please
contact us early to discuss costs,
format, and other details.
