Arthropod
Management Tests
Now Included in PMN

PMN’s
suite of online resources welcomes the
addition of
Arthropod Management Tests 2005
contributed by the
Entomological Society of America.
AMT publishes reports on tests for
management of arthropods that may be harmful
(pests and disease vectors of plants,
animals and humans) or beneficial
(parasitoids, predators and diseases of
pests, honey bees, silkworm, etc.). Pest
management methods may use chemical
pesticides and other materials such as
insect growth regulators, semiochemicals,
traps, bio-control agents, pest-resistant
plants and animals. Users can search by
host, author, scientific or common name of
insects, and the brand name or chemical name
of any material evaluated. AMT joins other
efficacy trials—B&C
Tests,
F&N Tests, and
Variety Trials—under the “Resources” tab
on the Plant Management Network
homepage.
