Plant Management Network Welcomes Colorado State University as its Newest University Partner St. Paul, MN (January 10, 2005) – The Plant Management Network (PMN), an innovative website designed exclusively for plant and agricultural professionals, announces that Colorado State University is its newest U.S. state land-grant university college of agriculture partner. PMN publishes four science-based applied journals-Applied Turfgrass Science, Crop Management, Plant Health Progress, and Forage and Grazinglands-an image database, three field trials publications, a plant science database of more than 4,000 fact sheets and other web-based resources, and a monthly newsletter. PMN also offers continuing education units to Certified Crop Advisers through its education and training center. "Colorado State University is proud to partner with the Plant Management Network in providing pertinent, applied information on management of plants and their pests," said Ned Tisserat, extension specialist and professor of plant pathology at Colorado State University's Department of Bioagricultural Sciences and Pest Management. "This will be a useful resource for plant managers in our state," he said. Two units of Colorado State University-College of Agricultural Sciences and CSU Libraries-share support of the PMN partnership. The College is an international leader in agricultural research and technology. The CSU Libraries provide an important collection of print and electronic resources in agriculture, natural resources, life sciences, and other subject areas. Colorado State University joins a growing list of PMN partners from more than 20 land-grant universities.
